Hello, I’m in the very beginning of this entire process because I’ve just started my studies in the US. I’ve always wanted to be a researcher and lecturer but knowing about the NIW opportunity I’d like to do everything consciously. Do you have any tips for me please? Should I try to start publishing asap, even in undergrad school? How to pick schools and professors and advisors? Thank you so much.

My BSc degree in Biology took just 3 years in the UK and my MSc degree in Clinical Psychiatry (research) in the UK was just 1 year. Do you think they accept them? They are from well known, accredited UK universities.
Hi, I heard that not just STEM degrees are good to apply to the EB2 NIW. But I don’t see any approved cases in humanities like for example Philosophy. Even if in theory people can apply with any specialty/major, in practice applications with degrees in humanities are denied? Thanks!
I’ve checked many approved NIW case lists (like 500-600 cases) and I can see that almost no one of the cases is specialized in Psychology. Could you please advise if is this because psychology researchers/psychologists tend to get rejected or they don’t even apply? I should know this for my future plans.

I recently graduated from grad school Computer science – Software Engineering major (AI). I finished 4.0/4.0 and was also awarded –
most outstanding student of the year award and research assistant of the year award. I have a research paper which i recently published less than 10 citations. I am about to publish another one. I won a scholarship in school, won a hackathon contest and runner up for another. I now major in Cybersecurity (Fraud detection) using AI. I work in that same field too. I command high salary too. I also have over 7 years work experience in related tech field
