Researchgate – is it important

Published Jul 12,2017 By Tatiana

Hi,

I was wondering if number of followers, download counts and other stats from portals like Researchgate can be considered as a legit source for proof of exceptional ability?

Thank you in advance,

Tatiana

Hi Tatiana,

The standard tool used by USCIS officers is the Google Scholar – these stats should be provided in any case. If Researchgate or any other engines known in the scientific community can help you to make your point stronger (e.g., they provide exceptionally high figures), then it makes sense to include these results too.
