Question about EB1A

Published Jan 12,2017 By Eli

Hi!

I am Italian and an Instructor in the USA. I have been working in the USA for 6 years. I won an award that allows me to have my own fundings and my own lab. If I understand correctly, I can apply directly for a EB1A. Is it correct?

Thank you very much!

Getting such award does not guarantee the positive outcome by itself (unless it is in the category of Nobel Prize or another major international prize), but there is a good chance you have necessary evidences for EB1A in the first place, if you got it. Please have a look at the EB1A eligibility requirements by the link below. Feel free to ask any further questions in this thread.
