Hi
Satisfying the three our of ten USIS EB1a criteria meets the first set of two step evaluation criteria. You would also need to show evidence for the following two in order for USCIS to consider you as extraordinary.
1. Petitioner is one of the small percentage of people who have risen to the very top of the field of endeavor.
2. Sustained national or international acclaim and that his or her achievements have been recognized in the field of expertise.
You can look at some example packets to see what evidence is typically presented.
hi
Thank you for the detailed response .
But I want to be clear that whether I’m eligible to apply in EB1 A being a PhD student(even before awarded with PhD)?
and where can I check for example packets?
Yes you do not have to have a Phd for applying for EB1a. As long as you satisfy the required USCIS criteria, you should be able to petition in the EB1a category. You can find the example petition packets in our DIY package.
