Question about filing EB-1A green card for myself

Published Jun 1,2025 By Poulami Basu Thakur

Hello,
I am writing about my interest in the EB-1A green card filing for myself. I graduated with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Emory University in May 2025. I also obtained a MS in Plant Pathology & Microbiology from Texas A&M University and have several years of professional research experience at academic institutions, including Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I also have 11 published papers of which 4 are first author publications, and 722 citations on ResearchGate. I wanted to ask if my CV could be evaluated for EB-1A. Thank you.

Hi Poulami,

Simply judging from those figures, you should be able to prepare a successful petition. Have you been a journal referee? If not, make sure you review several articles before working on your petition. It is the easiest criterion to satisfy.
