EB2 NIW

Hi,
I am on H1B working as Global Director, Business applications with 20+ years of experience in the IT industry.
I am an India-born Canadian citizen, checking on the potential for EB2 NIW or EB1A.
I am thinking the below criteria are strong potential for my case under EB2 NIW:
Official academic record showing that you have a degree, diploma, certificate, or similar award from a college, university, school, or other institution of learning relating to your area of exceptional ability —> Bachelor of computer applications (3 yrs) and Master of Financial Management(2 yrs), as per my understanding, I have to use my bachelor’s degree as my employment is described as Computer and information technology manager. As per WES evaluation, my bachelor’s is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the states. please advise if this is legitimate or any red flags on this.
Letters from current or former employers documenting at least 10 years of full-time experience in your occupation –> I have 20+ yrs IT experience with experience letters.
Evidence that you have commanded a salary or other remuneration for services that demonstrates your exceptional ability–>my base pay is 200+
Recognition for your achievements and significant contributions to your industry or field by your peers, government entities, professional or business organizations –> I have letters about my work and achievements & awards in IT consulting and banking firm for my outstanding performance and few projects cost-effective solutions implemented. Is this a potential evidence
Please advise if any recommendations or suggestions.
I would like to know which DIY package is better for me.
Appreciate your help!
Thanks
Geetha

Hi Geetha,
The most important part of EB2-NIW petition is demonstrating that your work is important for U.S. national interests. Can you show this? You can start from reading our free eBook (link below) and let us know in this thread once you have more questions. http://www.greencardforphd.com/free-ebook
Did your Master’s degree in Financial Management assume some computer science or IT applications? That would help… Speaking of remuneration, you would need to gather some statistics to show that your pay is exceptionally high for your field.

Also, just wanted to let you know that the current waiting time for India nationals (people born in India) applying for EB2-NIW is almost 8 years, see the Visa Bulletin:
