Hi
This is umer khalifa from India. I’m on verge of finishing my Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences (in India) and the anticipated year of completion is 2021. So far I have two publications (getting a third one soon) and 3 conferences out of which one is international (San Diego, USA received (travel grant)). In addition to that, I have worked as a high school teacher for the Ministry of Education, Maldives for 1.5 years. Since my Ph.D. project is from a government-funded project I also received 3 years of research experience letter (work experience ). After project completion, I joined in clinical AI start-up as Data Scientist and I’m completing a year in the company. I read your compilation of answers for frequently asked questions and would like to know that what are the possibilities for me to apply for a green card through EB2 (not necessarily, any possibility is fine) post-completion of my Ph.D.

Hi Umer,
Were you also born in India? If so, please keep in mind that the current priority date is 15MAY11, see the link below. It means that there is currently a 9.5 years backlog in EB2 category. Regarding the credentials, are those papers being published in peer-review journals? Are you the first author?
