EB-2 NIW and getting new employment under F1

Hi, I filed concurrent application for EB-2 NIW, form I-485 and form I-765. My STEMOPT EAD expired a day after USCIS received the application. I decided to go for a PHD and applied to the same school where I did my Masters. I applied before the expiration of my OPT, but admission was processed after STEM OPT expired (that is, in grace period). I accepted the admission, was issued an I-20 and I believe I am now back in F1 status.

Can I take up a Research assistant and Teaching role offered me by my department? Will this conflict with the EB2 NIW application? I did not file the NIW based on a teaching job or research job.
