Before answering your question, please let me know what type of visas you have in mind: the immigrant ones (“Green Card”, e.g., EB1A, EB2-NIW, EB1B, etc) or nonimmigrant one (J1, H1B, O1, etc).
Dear Tigran,
You need to guide / suggest / advise me which is the best visa will be applicable for us to settle down permanently in US.
thanks

Hi Ankit,
I will assume that you are interested in the self-sponsored EB1A/EB2-NIW immigrant visas (“green cards”), since it is the main focus of this website. Possession of PhD/MBA does not automatically qualify you for either of them. There are many factors that come to play, please have a look at the criteria for each of them by the first two links below. As an additional note, please take into account that India or China-born applicants currently experience delays for their adjustment of status applications, see the third link below. For example, for Indian nationals, the EB2-NIW priority date is set to 22JUL08 and for EB1A, to 01JAN12 (I hope that one will soon change to Current, as it happened last year). Please feel free to ask any further questions in this thread.
