My spouse ( Shriya ) has done her PhD in Foods & Nutrition and I have done MBA.
Can we qualify in any VISA category for US ?

Before answering your question, please let me know what type of visas you have in mind: the immigrant ones (“Green Card”, e.g., EB1A, EB2-NIW, EB1B, etc) or nonimmigrant one (J1, H1B, O1, etc).
Dear Tigran,
You need to guide / suggest / advise me which is the best visa will be applicable for us to settle down permanently in US.

Hi Ankit,
I will assume that you are interested in the self-sponsored EB1A/EB2-NIW immigrant visas (“green cards”), since it is the main focus of this website. Possession of PhD/MBA does not automatically qualify you for either of them. There are many factors that come to play, please have a look at the criteria for each of them by the first two links below. As an additional note, please take into account that India or China-born applicants currently experience delays for their adjustment of status applications, see the third link below. For example, for Indian nationals, the EB2-NIW priority date is set to 22JUL08 and for EB1A, to 01JAN12 (I hope that one will soon change to Current, as it happened last year).
